Welcome to Pukekohe Park

Pukekohe Park is New Zealand's most unique racing establishment, situated 35 minutes south of downtown Auckland and a 30 minute drive from Auckland Airport.

Within Pukekohe Park you will find premier motor sport, thrilling horse racing and a first class function centre. A new 15 metre wide, all-weather track has become a welcome addition to our training facility. Joining two grass surfaces and a plough track along with a dual lamp lighting system, providing trainers with the ability to consistently work their horses at a designated time.

Counties Racing Club races fifteen times a year with our feature event being DHL Counties Cup Day held in November. This day hosts the DHL Counties Cup (Group Two) and NRM/Auckland Thoroughbred Breeders Stakes (Group Two).

The Motor Sport track hosts the NZ V8 Series, Motorcycle Racing as well as regular test days during which the general public can attend. Counties Function Centre offers a fantastic range of options including onsite and offsite catering. Capable of catering to groups from an intimate gathering to crowds up to 1000.

Counties Racing Club in conjunction with Auckland District Jockey School held the  Pukekohe Park Awards Dinner for the 2011-12 season in The Oaks Room last night. This was a very pleasant evening of acknowledging the fine achievements of horses, stablehands, track riders, owners and trainers that are involved with Pukekohe Park every day.
