Horse Racing

Counties Racing Club hosts a total of 16 race meetings throughout the season with the premier Counties Cup Day being held in November.  Most race days now have a theme which adds some added excitement and interest to a day at the races.  To keep informed on what's coming up at Counties Racing Club keep an eye on our up coming events listed on our website or contact the Club.  

Pukekohe Park continues to play host to both the Training Centre and the Auckland District Apprentice Jockey School.  Activities on the Training Track begin at 5.30am Monday to Saturday, with many an apprentice and trackwork rider enduring an early rise.

The Apprentice School continues to produce some fantastic young riders, who are proving extremely competitive in the sport to date.
